I'm not entirely sure how I ended up in this crazy world of ppc search engine internet marketing, but I'm glad I did. I studied marketing at McMaster University and earned my degree in business in 2003. Like most recent graduates, I had no plan for my next career step but found my way into fundraising and marketing with The Terry Fox Foundation and Canadian Food for the Hungry International. Though I loved the work of the non-profit organizations I worked with, I realized that fundraising wasn't for me. Therefore, I went back to my roots in marketing and discovered the world of Google Ad Words, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft Ad Centre. I cut my teeth managing almost $85,000 in monthly online spending with another firm before coming to Spark. Since joining the team I have honed our pay-per-click strategies, and I develop and fine tune campaigns for our clients.

Currently, my interest lies in understanding how users interact with websites and how to help our partners profit from their sites. Website usability is a fascinating aspect of internet marketing and an area I hope to continue to learn.

• I love travel and exploring other countries. My favourite trip so far has been to Uganda followed by the Bahamas, a close second.
• I am getting married this August in British Columbia to my beautiful fiancee (awwww).
• When I am bored, I dress like Tony Clifton the greatest Vegas Lounge singer ever!
• My favourite film is the Big Lebowski
• My all time dream job would be to host the Late Show
• I drank champagne out of the Stanley Cup (the real one, not that ugly fake replica).
