I’m one of the co-founders of Spark Internet Marketing. I bring to the team a strong set of skills coming out of my degree in Environmental Planning and my 10 years as a web developer, solution architect and project manager.
I've been married for six years, and have a wonderful four year old son named Declan.
What does Chris do at Spark Internet Marketing?
- R & D and Innovation: I’m a huge fan of Phil Mckinney and the Killer Innovations podcast. I’m an information junky and listen to no less than 13 hours of podcasts every week alone on any number of topics including Killer Innovations. On top of that I read nearly a book a week. In consuming this information I’m constantly looking for new services, and products to offer our clients, new ways in which we can do SEO and PPC, and most importantly breakthrough technologies and tools no one has considered producing yet.
- Internet Marketing Consultant: To keep it real I personally manage the Internet Marketing for a handful of our accounts. Internet Marketing is constantly changing so I could not dream of leading in my role if I did not actively do SEO and PPC on a daily basis!
- Blogger: I actively post on the Spark blog Ignite!. My Spark posts are typically related to what we`re doing and what I see going on in the Internet Marketing space.
- Systems Administrator: No business can run without infrastructure and for the most part, I am the guy that keeps the printers printing, and the computers connected to the internet. I’m also responsible for architecting all of our client tools and utilities offered through the site.
- Solutions Architect: I happen to have this knack and passion for designing systems. Working with clients to translate their needs and desires into network diagrams, database schemas, and user interfaces just fascinates me. So from time to time, when the needs arise, I’ll jump to help our customers out with designing their systems.
