Firefox Color Picker Plugin - Way Too Convenient!
March 13th, 2008 Posted in Cool Tools
I’ll admit this is a little on the techy side of things, but I just had to share this color picker plugin for FireFox.
When I am using a CMS, or configuring a blog stylesheet I inevitably need to select an HTML Hex color. So I end up either going into Photoshop or Dreamweaver, or a book-marked HEX site but this is time consuming. So I installed this plugin for FireFox called ColorZilla. From the right mouse click menu or a footer icon you can instantly open up a HEX color picker, or eye dropper to choose a color off a page. Copy the code and paste it into your editor and your done.
Way too convenient!

Thanks for sharing this info. I have the same problems myself when formatting my blog. ColorZilla should do the trick.

I’m always amazed by the great addons available for Firefox. Eliminating any extra steps, small or not, is always welcomed.
