Google Launches AdSense For Mobile Sites

Google has officially launched their AdSense program for mobile sites. Now AdWords advertisers have the option of targetting these mobile sites and tapping into the growing number of mobile users on the internet today.

I wonder if this will follow the trend of normal adsense.
Huge at the beginning, but taper off when people begin to become desensitized to them.

It’s certainly a trend worth following and with the continue innovation on smart phones I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon.

Does anyone know what the cost comparison is between the mobile and regular adwords? It could be interesting.

I saw this the other day when in my adsense account. Do you think it will actually work this early on? Do you also think there is enough traffic to make it worth while.
