Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) has reported a 50% rise in demand for its affiliate and private label solution from potential new business partners across EMEA in the first quarter of 2009 compared with the same period in 2008.

That’s the headline and first paragraph from the story at Net Imperative. Given the economic challenges many companies are facing it comes as no surprise that business is turning more and more to the Internet as a source of more affordable advertising and lead generation services. In my opinion, affiliate marketing is the future of marketing. Why should advertisers pay for CPM or even CPC, when they can choose to pay only for real sales?

Man. You’re quit right but affiliate marketing is quite a very dishonest business ethically. You sell crap and sometimes get no money at all from affiliate networks.

As I am involved in affiliate business for a quite long time, and I love to experiment some good new ones. So, can you please give me a bit detail about this affiliate business?

The Expedia affilate model is a very easy and straight forward one, i mean everyone needs a holiday r book a flight at some point! plus they put out well! both of these factors make it very attractive to Internet Marketer’s

I agree, affiliate marketing is only going to get bigger and bigger as time goes by. I think it’s going to benefit the advertisers as well as the publishers. I myself have recently gotten into affiliate marketing as a way to supplement my income after I was laid off. And I would say in my opinion given what I have learned thus far, the power of the internet is truly mind boggling, I mean the amount of people one can reach is really amazing and has opened up a whole new career for me, as well as others.

I disagree with affiliate marketing being dishonest ethically, sure you have to keep pace with all of the competition, and where there’s lots of competition they’re sure to be a few (like in anything) that will use less than ethical tactics. And as far as promoting crap, I belong to quite a few networks that advertise great products you see every day in the news, on TV, etc. sure clickbank type products I agree aren’t the best,
    Anyhow just my two cents,
    William
