Google Reader Has Released A Search Feature – Good for Internet Marketing?

September 6th, 2007 by

Christopher KataGoogle Reader – Googles personalized RSS Reader has just received a brand new search feature. The search feature will let users do full searches on the RSS feeds the user is consuming. It’s a long awaited feature and proves to be quite useful to users of Google Reader.

I think it’s a tremendous feature and should help your Internet Marketing efforts. How you ask? Well, assuming you’ve got people subscribing to your blog feed via Google Reader – you’re more likely to have specific posts found and read by your subscribers because they now have the ability to find “the needle in the haystack” within the 100′s sometimes 1000′s of posts in the Google Reader. So – if you’re not already doing it, make sure you’re writing strong titles and headlines with keywords you think people will use to find your content.
