very true.
unique content is definitely the way to go.
with duplicate content, you just won't get the same results.

It is definitely a challenge but the results are worth it. We can all write about the same topic and have the same arguments for or against it but it should all feel and sound differently.

Thanks everyone for your comments!!!

I agree with Mark. Writing unique article is a very big challenge.

You can see that similar thing being written in different style everyday, even at those big blogs.

Social media monitoring, I agree with you...I think that over time as technology becomes more sophisticated... those 'real' and quality filled blogs will get the recognition they deserve.

I think the articles really unique are the key. And unique doesn't mean rewritten or using similar words to say the same thing. That is the challenge. To create a great unique article in your field. I find this the biggest challenge today.

With the massive amounts of content being produced each day you almost miss the old days of the web when some of 'largest' websites didn't even update their content each day :)

It feels pretty logical that since the amount of time people have to read stuff is limited the amount of content available can't grow too fast.

Guess what I'm trying to say is that I hope blogs that are 'real' keep thinking of their quality instead of their quantity.

The search engines will probably reward them for that eventually.
